Ramiroquai, is one of the DJs and producers from Cali, Colombia, influenced by genres such as jazz, funk, soul, and hip hop. His style is similar to the sound of Germany, the United Kingdom, and New York of the 90s. Ramiroquai excels in genres like House, Deep House, and Acid House.

In the 11 years of his career as a DJ, he has managed to play in the most recognized events and festivals such as BUMBAYÉ, Central Sound, and The Zoo festival in Cali, Video Club, Odem, and Baum in Bogota, and Salón Amador In Medellín. He has also managed to share stages with renowned artists such as:

Dear listeners enjoy my Set for Breidenbachs BREIDENCAST - Thanks for giving me the opportunity to present my audio art.  

This session is vinyl only and mixed on my beloved Carmen Condesa in early 2022. It introduces a classic journey of my mixes - gliding from a smooth house session into heavy 4tothefloor dub and tech house rollers. 

I’m Thirsty J - also known as Dursti - from the Stuttgart based Collective
DJU-DJU Nation. My musical collection can be described as a groovy House sound - and contains from disco to techhouse everything this genre offers. But I'm also into Liquid Drum and Bass and Reggae-Dub. Together with my DJU DJU gang we are organising partys in different venues around Stuttgart.

BREIDENCAST NO. 13 - Thirsty J

Szafran (pronounced Sha-fran) is a Polish Berlin resident, currently based in Croatia, who in recent times has made his mark upon the deeper sides of techno, house and electronic music. He's known for playing live in the twilight zones of Worldwide clubland and festivals and now for the kind of longer extended dj sets usually reserved for djs with bigger riders than their record collections. Known to discerning lovers of vinyl with a slew of releases (under his full name Oskar Szafraniec) on labels such as Rawax, Deset and Cyclo, the 27 year old producer feels like now is the ideal time for a change of name, a slight change of direction musically and a new outlook in these weird global times.

Collaborations and releases with artists such as Pier Bucci and Ricardo Villalobos have brought attention to this charming musician, producer and dj. People are sometimes surprised when they learn how, when only 18, he toured Japan with A Guy Called Gerald, shaping his musical identity and exposing him to literally a whole world of music, sights and smells.

As an expanding library of music in all good record stores builds up, it shows us an artist whose infuences range from Miles Davis, Arthur Russel, Terry Riley, Philip Glass and John Coltrane. Szafran selects layers of atmosphere, rattling riffs and unusual drums draped in subtle textures. He does it in ways perhaps not always associated with the housey techno scene he pervades now, yet always drawn from these influences he adores.

In April 2023 - their debut solo album “Sanctuary Of Ideas” is due via the Zurich-based label Lustpoderosa; a work that explores the dichotomy of the sanctuary as a sacred place and as a shelter, by asking Metaphorical questions about the tension between constructive and destructive facets of irrational will.'

If you were looking to shine a light on an essential element of Bianca Scout’s Sunday Mix, the most obvious choice would be her voice.

Over the course of 75-odd-minutes, it’s this instrument – glitchy here, wispy there, haunting throughout – that the London-based musician and choreographer uses to guide you through songs from her catalogue thus far, from unreleased edits to forthcoming work via music from her latest release, 'The Heart of the Anchoress'. Much like an ASMR soundtrack from some busy train station, filled with noise and bustle and background buzz, plus stories and strangers to boot, Scout’s mix will take you to somewhere else entirely this Sunday.

We are honored and excited to present the ‘Drum’n Voice Remixed’ album by the legend Billy Cobham in collaboration with Italian’s finest music producers and composers Novecento. 

Acclaimed as jazz-rock fusion's greatest drummer, Billy Cobham has dedicated his whole life to musical exploration and creative expression. Throughout his career he has collaborated with artists like Miles Davis, Horace Silver, Airto Moreira, George Benson and appeared on over 300 recordings, including icons like Peter Gabriel, Quincy Jones, Jack Bruce, Bob Weir, and James Brown. Cobham’s dramatic, explosive power mixed with emotional spontaneity, extraordinary dexterity, and complex style of play brought him global attention and critical acclaim.  The first album ‘Spectrum’ is a masterpiece and still considered a reference album today. 

‘Drum’N Voice’ is a collaborative project with the Nicolosi family, known collectively as Novecento. After reaching the top of the European and American charts with their Italo Disco hits, they decided to explore new ideas and evolve their music leading to a jazz and ambient territory and collaborating with some incredible artists. 

The album, recorded between Milan, London, Los Angeles and New York, also feature collaborations with incredible artists like Eumir Deodato, Stanley Jordan, Frank Gambale, Gregg Kofi Brown, George Duke, Brian Auger, Bob Mintzer. Billy delivers an amazing creativity and listening experience that unveils its unique style in playing drums and percussions. 
The collection include amazing reworks from Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Danny Krivit, Folamour, S.A.M., Gerd Janson, Khidja, Boris Dlugosch & Cassara, Coeo and Lexx.
