Lost about 30 seconds of the intro because of a Rekordbox reboot to fix an audio issue, but all in all it was a fun set once I caught my bearings. Smooth and soulful first hour into a moodier second hour, like I like to do it. S/O to Kaf, MetaPattern, DaddyDough and DJ MeLT for participating in our Saturday Vibe Train on Twitch. April 16 is my friend Talitha's birthday. We've known each other for about 25 years and in that time we've partied on many a dancefloor and she's seen me play countless sets.  She's still an avid LLL supporter who rarely misses a show. In celebration I went all in on an extended session spanning over 3 hours, touching on many flavors of DNB. There's of course deep liquid, some jazzy/soulful stuff, dubby rollers, epic synthy dancefloor stuff, dark tech rollers and of course some classics in the last hour. 'Jen a.k.a Flavours is a DJ based in Milton Keynes, England. It all started for her 17 years ago on a pair of 1210" Technics, mixing a variety of Drum and Bass and Hardcore.


She enjoys a variety of Drum and Bass- Jungle, Liquid, Tech, Deep, Dark, Minimal, and Old Skool. She’s inspired by producers and DJ’s such as Alix Perez, Break, Veak, Euphonique, Duoscience, Geostatic, Phat Playaz, Calibre, Payback and going back to her first days of mixing, DJ’s and Producers such as Clipz, DJ Hype, Andy C, Bladerunner, Mickey Finn, Kenny Ken, and Mampi Swift were the reason she fell in love with the genre.


She played at a few parties just before lockdown 2020, and had a set booked for Boomtown 2020 which was unfortunately cancelled. Since the rave scene went on ‘hold’ she was mixing non stop, and was offered a monthly slot on Different Drumz radio. It’s been a deeply emotional journey for her, battling with many challenges along the way; she’s truly found herself in music!


She believes music is something that brings people together, something that everyone has in common and can share globally. She believes it’s a healer like nothing else in the world. With her eclectic mix of different styles of Drum and Bass, she takes you on a journey through the genre, to showcase and spread the good vibes and sounds DnB has to offer.
