Unbeyond Anthologies are pleased to present LUCID’s solo debut on the label in the form of her new EP, “Found Footage”.

Opening on a stark and desolate note with “on a dark and stormy night” that sets the tone for what is to come, this project mixes ghastly deathstep atmospheres and production with a thrilling retro futuristic horror theme. Songs such as “Good Intentions” and “Foreshadowing” throw their weight around with devastating impact, a seamless blend of old and new sonic textures.

“ALARM” slows down the pace with heaving sound design and wailing melodies, the tempo mirrored by the title track with its sinuous growls and anthemic synthwave leads. “Survive” contains frazzled flows and dizzying trap percussion, while the closer “Midnight (Credits)” ends on a delightfully ghoulish downtempo drop.

“My first EP since ‘BLOODSHED’ in 2021, and with a much more in-depth tracklist and theme. Speaking of, when starting the title track, I was very into GREYLOCK, an online analog horror with some found footage segments, with the title track directly themed to tape 10 of the series. The more general musical ideas and tone started finding their way into more of my projects of the time and continued to be fleshed out until I collected the songs and made the theme more concrete.” said LUCID. “Although not personally attached to me like my albums, I do find this to be a very important step in my music, so I hope it shows. Welcome back to weird, and the Abstract series with myself Sw3rv3, and the homie B. Helix, for another wild ride through the Ether. This session was inspired by our recent set together at Fuzz's 50th birthday party event here in Roanoke VA this past July, it was a great show and fun to get together and throw down for a live event. Great atmosphere, great music, good times.

As usual We've got two different flavors of different in the same session for you today and we're sure you'll enjoy the dish.  Plenty of Psychedelic, Electric, Eclectic, and Soulful sounds here, some deep spoken word joints with blaring baselines accented of course with a wide array of multicultural vibrations and you know I had to throw just a bit of Drumfunk/DnB in there to make things complicated.

You don't get much deeper Underground than my next very special guest producer, Shawn Sampson, aka DEXAGON (Feel The Funk Records, One:Thirty, SOUP NYC).  Broadcast FRI 1ST AUG, Episode 41 in my ongoing B2B Producer Series ia a frenzied moshpit of sound straight from the Underground ... with the best in Bass, Acid, and Tech House bubbling up from the streets of Madison, WI (USA), all the way to Hong Kong.  A wizard in the studio, and topnotch DJ, Shawn raised the roof, than burned the damn building to the ground - forcing me to bring my A-game as well. In the end, an all-out, balls-to-the-walls collab with nearly 40 scorching tracks in just 2hrs (many of them Unreleased Exclusives, Mashups, and Edits!). It’s one helluva party we promise ya that.
