This is a chill little mix I threw together a while back for the new concept series Loungin' and just never got to releasing it. The idea for this series is a spot for mostly laid back jazzy and soulful tunes. I know these probably aren't the favorite subgenres for alot of you DnB listeners out there but it's a vibe I'm into so give it a shot and give a like and share if you're feelin' the session. Between the fresh newborn with seven siblings and running a business hopefully I'll have the time to lay down some more volumes here soon, patience is a virtue..

I've been on a bit of a creative tangent for a while now as the listeners may have noticed. I've been a lover of music since i was young and being a dj for geez, 26 years now, sometimes I need a break from the usual to plug back in to my creativity and refresh my interest in my go to genre. Working on the Abstract Series with B.Helix and delving into the Loungin' style jazzy and soulful DnB has been creatively enjoyable and I've actually learned some new mixing styles and strategies...always learning and growing as an artist. I'm not the best but man...I love music and truly appreciate all of you who have supported the series as listeners and artists over the years, hat tip to all of you.

So here ya go, it's an upbeat and diverse mix full of vocal and high energy tunes, heavy basslines, soul, funk, classic rock, tech, amen breaks, and jungle vibes. Style of the mix was in large part inspired by the homie Don't Look's banger set at a recent show here in Roanoke, so hat tip to you as well sir. Guest Mix Vol. 321 (Kind Movements) Exclusive DnB Session

Back at it for Loungin' Volume Three, this time we've got a nice mix of jazzy, spacey, and liquid vibes, really it's the kind of sound I'd imagined when I initially thought of the concept for this sub-series. Starting off with a nice intro tune from Dan Guidance's new The Light E.P. (an excellent piece) followed by some nice funky, liquidy vibes from Smote and Fernando Ferreira.

One of my favorite producers in Drum and Bass, Jrumhand, has 4 tunes on this mix, he's got a deep, progressively cinematic style of producing, utilizing ethereal and eclectic samples and breakdowns with smooth, complex drums. Really dig his style, if you haven't already, go check him out.
