Foundation Sound started in Derby, UK in 1980 and hasn't stopped playing since then - in recent years the sound split between one part which currently plays at parties, weddings, funerals etc and the younger generation which updated the remainder of the sound and changed its name to 'New Foundation'......

Ras Sal(Roots Corner, Roots Time Radio, Roots Corner Radio, Teocali Sound) makes his triumphant return to California and joins me as my guest in kind of a role reversal style.  Ras Sal has been a friend, teacher and mentor of mine in this reggae dj/radio community and I have been a regular guest on his shows numerous times.  In this episode he plays some great foundation and roots music as well as dive into the origins of how he found his love for reggae music. We also pay tribute to our great bredrin the late Judah Eskender Tafari in an impromptu tribute set during the Orthodox Hour! So lock in and Nice Up ya self for dis yah scorcha!!!
