This summer is extremely hot, but Frozen Plates are still stone cold. The next release is just around the corner and this time we bring you the sounds of two bad boys from Malta! None other than Volume A and Bnml. On the ’A’ side a collab, entitled 'Purcinel', and on the ’B’ side a massive stomper by Volume A entitled ’Move Forward’. For the usual 10” vinyl our Maltanese bad boys provide you a digital bonus track called ’Dubji’. The full release is expected in late July – early August. Watch our facebook and instgram sites if you don't want to miss out.
There is one more important piece of information. This time we worked with our two favourite cutting houses Dub Studio and Pressure Mastering. Dub Studio cuts 30 x 10” black vinyl and Pressure Mastering cuts 10 x 10” transparent vinyl.

Orbs EP

Unkey - That Sound (ARTKL061) [FKOF Premiere]

A track I created for my final project in BECA 231 Audio Production Basics class. The drums (except the 808) are created using recordings of cans being opened, and the white noise is made from a recording of my microwave. S/O to Felix for the vocal sample I used. Song was created and processed in FL Studio, took me about 2-3 hours.

Chord Marauders Polar Bear LP, a fundraiser release in aid of Geode's partner (Ola) who sadly fell very sick last year.

The proceeds of the release will go towards her medications and care, and in particular a new drug called Edaravone which is not currently offered on the British healthcare system.
