Is it possible to carry a love with you your whole life, even after a long separation? That memories and thoughts of the past relationship always surface, making you wonder if you still in love or if it are just the reflections of a wonderful time together?

I get distracted too... but I always come back to what's essential... my friends! A huge thank you to my friends for always being there for me!

I've been living in Romania for several years now, as a German citizen. And I've grown to love the country, but above all, its people. And I've never regretted my decision! However, my life has changed so many times, always unexpectedly and often drastically, without regard for my plans or wishes... fate or circumstances... I've always had to leave something behind to find something new. And I ask myself: is this finally it? Am I allowed to stay, or will I have to embark on a new path again someday? I don't know!

I read a lot as a child, especially fantasy stories. I remember how much I felt like the hero in those stories and how completely immersed I was in their world. It wasn't until I was an adult that my son got me back into reading fantasy stories, and after some time learning how to read them, I was able to dive back into the stories and experience another world.

When I was young, my mother read to me,
Her voice a lantern in the dark to see.
Through fairytales my restless heart would roam,
In worlds of wonder where my mind found home.

As years went on, the stories stayed with me,
I walked through realms no eye could ever see.
From dream to dream, I lived in other lands,
With friends made only by imagination’s hands.

Oh, I longed for the tales to be real,
For the worlds that I cherished to feel.
For the heroes to stand by my side,
And the magic to never subside.
But the years pulled me far from their light,
And the dreams slowly slipped from my sight.
Still the pages kept calling me then—
To the place where the stories live again.

Adulthood came, and shadows filled the day,
The worlds I loved grew quiet, slipped away.
The fantasies I held began to fade,
Replaced by all the choices life had made.

But when my children grew and reached for me,
I opened books again for them to see.
And through their eyes the magic woke once more,

Where the Stories Live Again

The older I get, the more I ask myself what "love" is. What is "true" love? Have I "really" loved? Why do we hurt each other more when we love each other? What comes after love? In this song, I've tried to find and describe the essence of love, drawing on classics like Hermann Hesse, Marcel Proust, Rainer Maria Rilke, and others. Much of it reflects my own life and my love life...and I shed a tear or two while creating it! Hope you'll feel and enjoy it!

The Wolf and the Lamb

One of my favorite music albums from my youth was "Switched On Bach," a synthesizer arrangement of classical Bach pieces...and all this in 1968, back when those huge boxes with a million cables were still around. For the time, it was considered utterly devilish and, at best, ridiculed. Today, electronic music is an integral part of our world. I wanted to go back to the roots and see what it might sound like today...with the help of AI...and I still think it's great...the transformation of classical music into electronic music. As an organist in my early youth, I discovered my love for complex harmonies. Then, in the 70s, synthesizers came along, providing a virtually inexhaustible source of powerful sounds. From the Minimoog to the Yamaha DX7, Korg M1, Prophet V, and later the Alexis Quadrasynth, and finally just computer sounds, I've always immersed my music in rich tones and harmonies! I only discovered my love for EDM and house music much later, but in my opinion, that's inevitable if you want to experience truly vibrant and fulfilling music! As a huge fan of "River Dance" and Michael Flatley, I've always listened to Irish music. Then I came across my first song with an Irish feel ("My Cat and Me"), and that gave me the idea to make a whole album in a Celtic style. Here's the result, with a wide variety of themes. Startet as kid with church organ, then came the synthesizers! Keyboarder in a rock band for twenty years...can you ever leave a band?? 

Then making music on my own, instrumental, just for fun. Never had the experience to play with lyrics...thought it to be minor...just ticking in harmonies and melodies! 

Recently detected AI...mind blowing and turned my world upside down!!! Now I'm sitting creating/writing/modifying lyrics for days!!! And the music is just minor? Not really. The combination of lyrics and music fascinates me for every song!!!

My style....is to have no style....not even stopping at the language barrier....Rock, Irish Folk, EDM, House, Meditation or Indian Folk....english, romanian, french, hindi....everything which expresses the emotional intention of the lyrics. So don't expect me to be as expected 😂. Just enjoy the different kinds of songs, funny, touchy, dynamic, weird!
