In this Episode Basel based DJ, community organizer and member of the BIPOC Collective Okra, KA-RABA speaks with Tanya from Zagaza Collective (Fribourg) and Timon from FUBU collective (Zurich) about musical and physical proximity and safer clubbing in times of Covid-19. 
Zagaza is a network of black female performance artists and visual artists. They ground their artistry in the black collective art consciousness. Their desire is to create sensory experiences that entice the community through the merging of mixed art forms and the development of a greater network of BIPOC artists with whom they can co-create platforms and spaces. 
Fubu is a group of black people coming together through friendship and the same needs: Being tired of white, cis and often male dominated club and cultural spaces, they feel obligated to take action. Not just for them as a group, but for all BIPOCs and especially queer identifying ones. By creating spaces for interaction and connection they hope to facilitate the celebration of the self. For Fubu it is about the feeling of being part of something, to be understood and to be heard.
