Compton-born artist Soupmakesitbetter takes the listener on a West Coast adventure collaborating with producer, K.FISHA (who has worked with the likes of Larry June, Curren$y, Blxst, Dom Kennedy and more) on the 3-piece project “Levels to the Link Up”.

This energetic, rap EP (extended playlist) begins with the playful “Dolla Dolla” which focuses on the lack of genuineness that Soup has encountered throughout his musical career. Frontin’, faking, and piggybacking galore is explored on this track! 

Next up, “Authentic”, bust through the doors with its hard-knocking bass and layered synth sounds. Soup speaks on themes of authenticity and manifestation through his triumphant delivery. On the second verse, Soup enlists fellow West Coast rapper, C Plus, to add his own authentic flow and flavor to the track.

The project then closes out with the celebratory, “Motor Mouth”, and its boisterous production. On this track, Soup teaches us the balance of persistent hustling while enjoying the beauty in life. Knowing that a new day is never guaranteed, Soup continues to strive and hone his skills in order to passionately deliver music with a motivating message.
