‘Teeth’ came to be when Soupy LaRue stumbled across a tribe of cannibals in South America, prompting the band to write about the ritualistic aspect of the consumption of human flesh. The tribesmen believe they absorb the power of those that they consume, but... they got a little more than they bargained for when they ate the not-quite human, omnipresent Soupy LaRue.

Soupy LaRue is a very important idiot. 

He is like a force of nature; impossible to predict, incredibly destructive, and totally oblivious.

Soupy LaRue may or may not be of this earth. He doesn't experience time the same way as you and I and he might be in two places at once.

Soupy LaRue often stumbles into pivotal moments throughout history, fundamentally shaping our destiny. He has no knowledge of this.

It might seem that Soupy LaRue is a part of some great universal organisation, or a higher power, but no one has claimed him, and he claims no affiliation to any particular group.

Soupy LaRue is not evil or sadistic, but he is a little selfish and fairly inconsiderate. He bears no ill will towards any other living being, although, he sometimes gets frustrated and behaves... inappropriately.
