I am happy to share the first track in 2024 build with a brand new setup. For me its a complete new universe of design and create sound with this setup. Its mostly modular build. Its a powerfull tool and i love it to twidle the knobs until the ghost in the machine apears and talk to you. Invicible Void is the first one i shared with you. Preperation Mix

Codename: RCRDS commence a new trilogy of Various Artist releases with Distant Journeys EP, which once again sees the label bring together a selection of the finest talents in the Atmospheric DnB scene.

Continuing on from his stunning ‘Sun At Midnight EP’, Label regular NonRev opens the EP with the sublime roller ‘So Too Shall Pass’, full of atmospheric chants and driving rhythms.

Mineral contributes the sublime stepper ‘Abstract Motions’, with evocative pads and melodies combining with deep rumbling bass and his crisp clean production providing a stunning example of the Helsinki producers trademark sound.

The EP closes with a debut track from Pathfinder, which sees previous Codename: artists Missen and newcomer Tennant join forces for a beautiful dreamy vocal number which switches things into amen territory for its latter stages to close the EP on a stunning high.
