Four and a half years... That's how long Mars Massive took him to write Evolve. Four years of experimentation, encounters, inspiring friendships, joys, but also personal trials, disappointments and sorrows. All these emotions and many more have fuelled his music over the years, culminating in this project. Evolve is the collection of a journey, the multi-faceted soundscape of a slice of life, a piece of soul offered to the world.

Electric dream

For the last 18 months my girlfriend and I have been really diggin a style of hard trance that we’d never heard until then and one I’ve never played out. It’s bouncy and emotional with  ‘old skool 90s style rave feel’ melodies, yet eerie and thought provoking. 

Soooo… my girlfriend has been asking me for about a year to do a mix with these tunes lol and I never got round to doing it for her 😬. 
But back in March, it was her birthday. So I thought I’d surprise her and FINALLY do it 🙌  and then send her the link on her birthday. 
It’s been a private link - for her and I only ever since. But I think it’s now time to chuck it up on here publicly and let y’all check it out too  😉 

I’ve mixed it with the intention of beginning slow and going up and up ⬆️ -increasing the tension and the ride every step of the way 🚀

Start Again is the first track from the upcoming album Beastly Snoot, marking the debut album release from Select Username, a new alias from the artist behind Cookies Slayer. This track serves as a sonic bridge between two artistic worlds, transitioning from Cookies Slayer's signature Psytechno into Select Username's Drum & Bass.

This release also marks the beginning of a new chapter and launches the artist’s new label, 303 BPM.

Hunab Ku was the Supreme Creator God of the Mayan pantheon and represented the solar calendar, the balance of forces, perfection, universal consciousness, but also the gateway to other parallel dimensions.

The Symbol of Hunab Ku
Hunab Ku was depicted only through his symbol, but had no actual visible form. He was associated with two other deities: Itzamnà, his son, and Huracan, the god of wind and storms.

Hunab Ku is also a symbol analogous to yin and yang and resembles the shape of a spiral galaxy; Hunab Ku is also the symbol of the center of the Milky Way: the "galactic butterfly."

The Mayan calendar was entirely based on the position of the "galactic butterfly," since the fate of humanity depended on it.
