Sourires is making a name for himself in the scene thanks to his latest works characterised by a fresh sound, his tracks are rich in sampled and melodic parts and have a well-defined sound.
In the last year he has released three tracks on major labels, including Internasjonal, saint wax and samosa records, where he has collected a dozen tracks that have been well appreciated and supported in Europe and beyond.
He approached the world of DJing at the age of 19, but music has always been his passion, hip hop, jazz, funk, and as he grew up he continued to cultivate and study these styles until they became an important part of his productions.

Sounds Familiar is the world-renowned artist agency, label, and record store that is synonymous with quality and heart. This year Sounds Familiar is celebrating a decade in dance music by releasing 3 LP’s. The series entitled “Familiar Sounds”  dropped its first volume in April and featured Dego, Kamma & Masalo, Aleqs Notal Feat Anu, Kai Alcé, Retromigration and Hugo LX.  On the second volume Sounds Familiar continues to join the musical dots with artists from the roster spanning elastic acid house and candle-lit piano jazz. Familiar Sounds Volume 2 features another heavyweight lineup that includes the mighty Kaidi Tatham, Carista, Gigi Testa, Zopelar, Alex From Tokyo and K15, all on a 12” vinyl album that reaches all corners of the roster’s electronic jazz-influenced sound. 
Kaidi Tatham’s upstart summer anthem ‘Misguided Youts’ kicks off. Built on a piano vamp and an infectious horn line, the track eases into a consummate piece of future fusion, stirring the melting pot of London’s jazz and broken beat heritage into the kind of soulful jam that has rightly earned him his legendary reputation. Taking a deeper dive, Carista tweaks the dials to deliver a slice of rubbery four-to-the-floor dancefloor business. Rattling snap-back snares give her track ‘Love Me Right’ a kind of early hours dynamism, the dream-like vocal sample drifting across a room of loose and swaying bodies. Gigi Testa rounds out the A-side with shuffling outernational house track ‘Summer Snow.’ Integrating his passion for global rhythms, the Rush Hour affiliate, and Organica Record Shop owner channels the shimmering opulence of the Amalfi coast on what is an indulgent boat party of lush pads and sun-dappled melodies. 
On the flip Zopelar delivers the jazzy, disco-infused house of ‘Arapuca.’ There’s a skittish energy to Zopelar’s offering, which wriggles and jives between muted trumpet improvisations, George Duke’s ‘A Brazilian Love Affair’ and the kind of in-the pocket synth work he is known to have among his arsenal of musical skills!  Alex From Tokyo weaves in the stripped back influence of his former Berlin home into the techno-pop landscape of his Japanese upbringing, heading in to go out on the cosmic club cut ‘Wa Galaxy.’ Closing out the LP is DJ, producer, and man of many monikers, the inimitable K15. Putting on his jazz hat most associated with his work as Culross Close, ‘Autumn’ is a solo piano ballad that brings the exuberance of high summer to a reflective end, demonstrating just how varied and open-minded the world of Sounds Familiar is.

Anna Schreit @anna-maria-schreit was born and raised in Berlin, into a family of a musician who exposed her to a diverse range of music genres from a very young age. Her father's art rock band was one of her earliest influences, shaping her understanding of music and its various forms. 

Despite living in a beloved techno city in Europe, it was actually during a trip to Munich that Anna was introduced to the world of electronic music. It was here that she discovered the exotic sounds of house music, which proved to be a turning point for her musical journey. After falling in love with the endless possibilities of house music, Anna began DJing in 2012 to share the tracks she had collected and built up over the years. Her goal was to create immersive experiences and take her listeners on unique journeys through her sets. 

Anna Schreit's latest release is Duck EP, her first for the legendary Compost Records — a "warm and funky soulful three track" EP, each of which are dedicated to one of the three bookers at Berlin's Sisyphos where Anna is one of the club's valued regular DJs:

Like so many artists, we discovered @hennaonna 's music for the first time on David Nichols' @closertotruth label — her gorgeous and sophisticated Midori no Basho EP, released just over a year ago. Based in Yerevan, Armenia, Henna has also released stand-out tracks on labels including Nite Grooves, Kindisch, Lisztomania and more.

Though impressed by her productions, we never heard her DJ. And then we heard her mix, and we were sold on it. Henna has a dope sound — that deep and warm deep house vibe that fits so well with our Sanctify mix series.

Here we are for the 4th round of @Apparel-Wax and a crazy one indeed for all the lovers of the vinyl masked man, a release that expresses 4 different nuances of House. Few words are needed to describe the debut of the vinyl with A1 track which is a rarely powerful combination of 2.0 Dance Music and 80’s vibes, a proper slap in the face to kick it off! Our unknown DJ then shifts to a more sensual mode with A2, where funky guitar shades and smooth chords blended with the vocals that drag us on a more intimate level of listening to keep on traveling on a lower tone. B side starts with a track guided by weaving Jazzy rhythmics dialoguing hectically with Samba and some jungle environmental recordings, creating a super personal interpretation of Brazilian Jazzy House, while to end up the 4th trip on Wax Planet, B2 blesses us with some more classic vibes with a sharp string’s melody and a rich bassline guided silently by a Rhodes piano and some pungent and melancholic female vocals, to end it up in style. Full project curated by Giuseppe D’Alessandro, mastered by Stefan Eichinger aka LOPAZZ, distributed by Wordandsound, published by Apparel Music.
