This mix marks the 100th episode of our podcast project, and what a ride it has been! To celebrate this milestone it is our profound pleasure to present a set by a deadly duo: DJ Mell G and MCR-T. Both of them have already been featured on the podcast series individually, displaying their unique sound spanning multiple genres. Now they have joined forces for an epic hour of nonstop action. Recorded at our livestream in the Allianz-Tower, these two don't hold back, offering up some of the illest electro and ghetto-tech you've ever heard. José Manuel Alvarez, also known as Dubbyman, made his debut as a DJ in 1992, hidden under the name of José Vertice. Acid house, funk, drum and bass and hip hop were just some of the ingredients of his firsts sets, backed up by his collective Dogs Connected.
Latter incursions into dubbed house and electrofunk sounds took him to visit most important clubs in Madrid like Deep and Danzoo, while maintaining his own club, Freak. By 2002, and thanks to his new facet as a producer he became Dubbyman, moves his residency from Freak to Café Bar Las Descalzas and expands his sessions across Madrid, in clubs like Morpheus, Ohm, Taboo, and outside, in places like Sonar 2006, La Macarena (Barcelona), House Café Music (La Coruña), Le Club (Valencia), El Sol (Salamanca) or Telefunken (La Coruña).
Nowadays he and his brother directs the Deep Explorer music label where their productions are released along with other Spanish artists like Robert Calvin (Turbo records), Loudest (Odori, D-Press), Gauss Control (Undress music), Tempostop (Aeróbic studio), and other international artists like Rob Paine (Worship/Philadelphia). He keeps Djing at Sybaris, where he shows his best selection of the latest funk, soul and Nujazz sounds.

Anthony Rother enters our REC series at Fuse. At the vanguard of the electro scene, few artists like Rother can boast a 20-plus years career in such a prolific way. And one thing's for sure, this rich heritage seeps through this two-hour hybrid mix, recorded within the hallowed walls of our beloved Room 01.

With Rother's formula, you're in for alluring, overcast electro rhythms and ethereal melodies that weave together ideally for a buzzing club night. In the hands of his creative force, the intermittent appearances of computerized's effects-laden vocal manipulations never felt so well. It's close-knit, cohesive, and yet so surprising. Helena Hauff, a former resident DJ at Hamburg's Golden Pudel Club, rose to global prominence with her 2015 album "Discreet Desires." Known for her authentic style and expertly curated DJ sets spanning acid, electro, EBM, and techno, she has headlined major festivals like Sonar and Dekmantel. Hauff’s BBC Essential Mix was named the best of 2017, and her latest album, "Qualm," continues her raw, powerful approach to music.

DJ MELL G emerged through 2020 livestreams, quickly gaining recognition. She launched JUICY GANG RECORDS in 2021 and has since toured globally, blending electro, techno, and breakbeat. Performing at top venues like fabric and Golden Pudel Club, she’s also collaborated with artists like DJ GODFATHER. Her debut LP, "ISSUES," reflects her journey and commitment to mental health awareness in the music industry.
