JP was born in Buenos Aires and has had a lifelong connection to music, starting out by playing instruments such as the piano and guitar at a young age. He eventually discovered the electronic music scene and has been hooked ever since, drawing inspiration from artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Makebo, Volen Sentir, Mariano Mellino, and Nicolas Rada. JP has had the opportunity to perform in countries all over the world, including UAE, Sri Lanka, Buenos Aires, Spain, and Thailand.

Sound Without Borders

This episode of MusicLab features MOOJEV — a producer and sound engineer whose experience speaks for itself. His journey in electronic music began in the early 2000s and has since evolved into a diverse portfolio of performances, collaborations, and initiatives that have shaped the scene in and beyond Ukraine.

First gaining wider attention with a standout appearance at the legendary Kazantip Festival in 2006, MOOJEV went on to become a regular presence at key events, including as a resident within the Ukrainian Burners Community, a key organizer of Precompression/Decompression series in Kyiv, and the official musical ambassador for UEFA Euro 2012 Poland–Ukraine.

His sound blends melodic techno, progressive, breaks, and indie electronic — never bound by trends or genre limitations. MOOJEV creates from instinct, which is why his music remains fresh, relevant, and deeply resonant.

His set for MusicLab isn’t just a mix — it’s a cohesive audio narrative: atmospheric, precise, and emotionally tuned. A sound with no borders — stylistically or geographically.

I have developed my passion for music since childhood. I remember myself at the age of 10, running still with headphones and watching clips on MTV, VIVA or 4fun. My first musical memories came from the '90s and '2000s when I started listening to electronic music played by The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Groove Armada or Fatboy Slim. If there are events that affect your life and taked to "everything has started," then it is 2009 for me and the first big event - Sensation White. Since then, I have been constantly learning and honing my skills and collecting albums, compilations and singles, and for a few years I've been trying to play at parties. Life has taught me one thing - never forgive in the pursuit of your goals. so people came up who gave me a chance and appreciate what I do. After 15 years of playing I have many successful events and I can not wait for each other My favorite genres of electronic music are house, techno, trance and progressive. I also like to experiment with electronic beat and I do not shut up for the selected genres, I'm still searching and absorbing new sounds. Music gives me fulfillment, passing it on to people, and positive reception motivates me to play each other.

Beat is the fuse, music is the flame, energy is the bomb.
