Kite

South City is the creative vision of two people from a small town in Oklahoma. Officially formed in early 2012 by lead vocalist Alexx Anesthetic, South City came onto the scene with the single "In Art" with a music video for the song following soon after, hosted by BlankTV on Youtube and multiple other mediums around the internet. Soon after, the band hit the road to promote the new release, playing in multiple cities around their home state and sharing the stage with acts such as Drake Bell from the hit Nickelodeon show "Drake and Josh", The Rocketboys, and many more. Later on that year, Alexx returned to the studio to continue working on South City's debut album, the Natural Regression E.P, projected for completion in late 2015. Since then, two more songs have been released from the album via the band's Reverbnation page for free download, including an acoustic cover of Nick Heyward's "Kite." 2015 also saw the addition of Alexx's longtime friend Haley Mitchell on guitars and percussion. The two subsequently released a small compilation of rooftop sessions, featuring songs from Natural Regression as well as a live cover of Matchbox 20's "3 am". Currently, the act is polishing up and recording material for the completion of Natural Regression as well as writing all new material for later release and performance.
