Say My Name - South House

South House, 25, is an experimental music producer from Lawrence, Kansas. South House started producing in the summer of 2010 when a friend introduced him to FL Studio. After graduating high school the following year, South House walked away from a promising collegiate football career to focus on music production.

     Towards the end of 2011, he began working with artists in Topeka and Lawrence. After moving to the Kansas City area in 2013, South House continued to work with local artists and gain recognition within the metro for his trap beats and samples. Following a placement with one of Kansas City’s best artists in 2014, South House began to shift his attention to producing Electronica and House music.

     In 2016, South House moved from Kansas City to Miami to intern at a major studio and continue learning Electronic Dance Music and the Music Business. Since then he has moved back to Kansas City and has announced his plan to release an electronic instrumental album titled, Cold Summer, in the spring of 2018. This will be South House's first official album and his first test as a serious music producer.
