Legend tells of a motley crew of rogues, scoundrels, and reprobates known as the South West Sea Wolves. On their sentient pirate ship under the watchful eye of 'Mad' Captain Maui, they found kinship with each other and sail the seven seas, a-plundering, a-pillaging, and carving out their legend amongst the great buccaneers of the golden age.

This song tells the tale of Stanway Grimshaw, the gruff, tough, no-nonsense first mate of the South West Sea Wolves. Once a member of the King's Navy, he left his career behind to join Captain Maui's crew to take control of his fate and seek his fortune.

02. The Ballad of Stanway Grimshaw [Demo]

This song is about the world's clumsiest and most useless navigator, Bartholomew 'Barty' Hilton. With a compass that 'just doesn't like him', and of the opinion that maps are 'optional', he is tolerated as a member of the South West Sea Wolves for the sheer comedic value he provides. Often mistaking distant clouds and whale-backs for islands, and accidentally tying himself to the mast on a regular basis, he has earned his place in maritime history - as a cautionary tale.

03. Barty's Got Us Lost Again [Demo]

This song is about 'Honest' Lawrence Lockwood, the resident musician, gambling addict, and general deckhand of the South West Sea Wolves. Known as 'Honest' Lawrence due to his extremely trustworthy demeanour, he'll be the first to tell you that he's never lied, embellished, or exaggerated about a single fact in his life, not even once, and every word of the songs he sings is absolutely truthful, on pain of death. This is, of course, a lie and utterly untrue. In fact, he's known in some circles as Lawrence the Cheat, Lawrence the Cad, or Lawrence the Liar.

05. Honest Lawrence, The Liar [Demo]

This song is about the young and intellectual cartographer of the South West Sea Wolves, Derby Salem. Preferring to spend their time below decks stooped over a desk, scrawling on parchment with quill and ink, they can often be found passed out over a spread of various maps they'd been studying. Despite their youth, they're a highly respected and much valued member of the crew.

06. Mapmaker, Mapmaker [Demo]

This song is about the South West Sea Wolves' resident doctor. Incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to the medical practices of the 17th and 18th centuries, they are a vital member of the team, especially considering how often crewmates get shot, stabbed, or lose a finger.

08. I'm a Doctor, Not a Scallywag [Demo]

This song is dedicated to the chief gunner of the South West Sea Wolves.

07. Bang Goes the Cannon [Demo]

This is the music that plays around the Sea Wolves' market stall on Windfall Island. Yes, that is a Zelda reference.

04. The Pirate's Market [Demo]

This song is a tribute to the quartermaster of the Sea Wolves, and his priceless contribution to keeping us alive during times of conflict.

09. To Arms! To Arms! [Demo]

10. The Fields of Home [Demo]

This song is about the mysterious mercenary and cryptozoologist known only as Belmont. A fine warrior, known for carrying a whip, he is an invaluable member of the Sea Wolves crew.

11. Monster Hunter [Demo]

This is a song about the infamous villain, Captain Hook. His crew sing this song about him whenever he isn't looking to make their unfortunate, accursed lives somewhat more bearable.

12. The Many Blunders of Captain James Hook [Demo]

This song is about Eli, the purser of the Sea Wolves. A former island hermit and undiagnosed kleptomaniac, she loves nothing more than to hoard gold, goods, trinkets, and treasures of all kinds. As such, she is well suited to her shipboard role of maintaining inventory.

13. Counting The Gold (I'm a Loon for Doubloons) [Demo]

The South West Sea Wolves are a group of professional piratical performers, cosplayers, reenactors, singers, crafters, and combat educators. This page is for music written for them by their very own resident bard, 'Honest' Lawrence Lockwood. 
The songs featured here are only home made demos at present, but Lawrence hopes to have them professionally recorded at some point in the future.
