Atmospheric and textured, this latest podcast by Boskøw deploys itself like a film narrative taking you on an epic journey. Mixing ambient, downtempo, experimental and dub techno, his universe evolves among BPM & textures for the sole purpose of hypnotising the mind. He delivers in each work an introspective & esoteric electronic music, from seabeds to stationary orbits. 

After several years performing in Paris, the French DJ and producer is now based in Marseille. He released his first EP in 2018 on the Italian label Ovunqve.

For our first podcast of the series, we present to you French DJ and producer, Farazdeck. An artist with multiple releases under some of the finest deep techno labels including Circular Limited (Spain), Indefinite Pitch (China), Secuencias Temporales (Mexico) and more. 

Last summer Farazdeck shared with us an intelligently crafted live set, casting a dense haze of otherworldly sounds which set a tone over Friday night's magic. Once we were gifted with this mix we had no choice but to invite him back to the valley this June...

This mix is an exemplary musical journey exploring different realms of deep atmospheric sounds. From the outset the listener is lured in by glitchy minimal textures that slip seamlessly into thick percussive beats. The high energy finale rounds off this mix keeping you gripped from start to finish.

For Studio Sova #20 we have Daniel from Above Below taking over the controls!

Daniel is one of the founders of Above Below and we are happy to have him representing the various flavours of the festival during the first Sova Studio stream of 2022. Using sound that organically shifts from ambient to downtempo and through to dubbed out house and techno, he paints a picture that encapsulates the mood of Above Below. As the event continues the emotive and expressive undertones will become apparent as they begin to sway you.
