14th July 2015: To coincide with the entry of the space probe 'New Horizons' into Pluto's atmosphere, today, nine and a half years after its launch, this is the single 'New Horizons'. The Brainwasher (Movie Soundtrack)

'Tear Stains', one of the tracks  that will be featured on the upcoming 'Maya's Wedding Veil' album. Originally written as a tribute to the British artist, Robert Smith and the music band, The Cure. 

Words were penned as way back as 2006-2007.... covered in music only a decade later during a rehearsal session in Mill Hill Studios, London after plugging bass to a big amp and setting a certain  rhythmic pattern without thinking too much. It somehow seemed to work. Recorded and mixed it around late 2019- early 2020.

Tear Stains

Soviet Space Bat is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger, producer and vocalist. The name has several connotations and is best left to anyone's imagination. However, in short it does create mental images and suggest the kind of music that one is likely to hear- esoteric, surreal and psychedelic. Soviet Space Bat is an extension and a theatrical version of its creator who goes by the name Ajit Menon. The subject matter covered in the songs is quite varied but it is primarily reflective in nature. Themes such as retaining a sense of individuality, idealism, nostalgia, dreams, purity, child-like wonder and innocence in our unpredictable world are very prominent in his music. It is a journey of self-discovery.
