Born and raised in Houston, Tx... 24 yr old Sowell's father was the song leader in the church she grew up in. Not only was Sowell in the church choir, Music was also played and sang heavily in her household growing up. Her love for songwriting began at the age of 12 from writing poetry... she began putting melody to words and organically fell in love with the art of songwriting.

Sowell says her music is best described as Fly&B (R&B) New Age  alternative Soul mixed with Smooth Neosoul vibes with heavy bass and drums for the homies wit the booming' systems!
