While on tour last summer, SOWFLO pulled off at a truck stop in Nashville, TN for gas & coffee. It was there we crossed paths with a hitchhiker whose story would inspire the lyrics for this song.  
    Our drummer (Wes) was watching his dog for the quick minute the hitchhiker went inside the store.  In appreciation, he rolled up the last of his weed & we shared a joint on the curb in front of the truck stop.  He told us about the places he’s traveled & the sights he has seen.  The hitchhiker went on to say that he was currently trekking cross-country to Arizona to fulfill an unbreakable promise to his wife; To be by her side come June, as she battles the courts to regain custody of her children.  They were both travelers heading in the same direction, to the same destination.  The only difference being that his wife was 12 hours in front of him.
    The hitchhiker didn’t own a smartphone.  He wasn’t on facebook & he didn't use google maps.  When he’s separate from his wife, he misses her wholly.  With a smile he explained to us that nothing was amiss, that they would reunite soon, and that the journey was beautiful.
    I left that truck stop feeling inspired by his story. TRUE LOVE will travel any distance.  It conquers all terrain, & knows no boundaries.  ”Love pushes through.”
