Soil, Rise, Welcome! (Improv Demo)

Whisper like tousled embers flicker through my hands. Am I losing you? Am I? Trapesing about like foxes through the leaves; I'm falling down and gathering stones at my knees. Vanishing like the fog through tall trees, swallowing branches and leaves.  I'm not sorry, because I will burn and light the path you wander through these wild woods. And I won't go out.

I Can See You

We'll march, torches held high through the woods. 
Thunder pouring loudly from our hearts. 
Dark clouds stampede all across the sky. 
Mountains' rigid teeth nip at their heels tonight.

You have to know what's worth fighting for. 
When you don't you'll walk just like a funeral; 
Salty-eyed, tired, and alone. 
And they won't come when you call, all your wild animals, and their fleeting hearts. 
Chase them through the dark.

They say you burn so bright they can see you at night. 
But I've got two flames in the back of my eyes. 
Finally reached the cliffs, never looking back. 
All the branches cracking underneath our feet, in between our hands. 
And the gasping ending of the sun, sinking to the sea. 
All the ghosts are freed, rising with the mother moon; stalking, listening. 
And they dissolved into us.
