GRAMMY-nominated duo Fatum share a preview of their forthcoming Anjunabeats Worldwide 10 compilation with new single 'Something New', feat. LYCA.

Ubiquitous on Anjuna over the last decade in various guises, Bruce Karlsson and Daniel Davis have been responsible for an abundance of catalogue classics.

Bruce was an architect of the electro-tinged grooves that made Norin & Rad a tour-de-force throughout the early 2010s with the likes of ‘Bloom’, ‘Pistol Whip’ and ‘Thundercat’. Dan, crate-digger and intricate melody maker as Judah (w/ Chris Nelson), responsible for the likes of ‘Boss Fight’, ‘Nomad’ and ‘Zero-Day’.

Always found at their best together, Fatum launched as a quartet in 2015 alongside Chad Newbold and the sorely missed Bill Hamel. Boisterous floor fillers ‘Chocolate, ‘Love On A Real Train’ (Tangerine Dream Cover) and ‘All In’ followed, the latter reworked by Above & Beyond in May 2020.

Following in the footsteps of Anjuna superstars Mat Zo, ARTY, ilan Bluestone and Grum, the tenth instalment in the legendary Anjunabeats Worldwide compilation series leads listeners to the darkest of dance floors. It's a 21 track journey championing the past, present and future sound of the label.

There are five original productions from Fatum themselves, including collaborations with Jaytech, Mars Atlas, LYCA and re:boot. Mainstays of the Anjunabeats family Mat Zo, Genix, Grum, ALPHA 9 and Sunny Lax are present, while Anjunabeats Rising graduates Naz and Alex Sonata & TheRio have their first outing on a label compilation.
Fatum also bring cult favourites back to the dance floor, reworking Andy Moor and Adam White’s ‘Whiteroom’ and Above & Beyond’s ‘Alone Tonight’ - the sought-after Alexandra Palace remix which first aired nearly a decade ago.

Their much anticipated second artist album, Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy" combines their renowned song-writing values and sleek electronic production with a modern melodic sound - drawing on the vocal talents of Richard Bedford and Zöe Johnston.

Including elements of trance, house, electronica and even modern classical, "Group Therapy" is a complete listening experience that includes the bittersweet orchestral beauty of piano opener "Filmic", the dark tale of edgy electronic-house anthem "Black Room Boy" and the ambient electronica of "Sun In Your Eyes".

Hailing from California, Spiffy Man is a multi-genre artist with an extensive classical background. Making his debut in 2010 under the banner Sp33fy M@n, he made his first impact on the EDM scene with his 2011 debut album, Headlight; more specifically the single, A Fog Lit Street. Gaining momentum from Pandora’s Music Genome Project, he steadily rose quickly after a name change and a fresh release in 2014 with The Natural World. Spiffy gained further notoriety in 2015 with a release of three singles and his fourth album, Parallels on EDM.com’s platform Artist Intelligence Agency. His final album, EDEN, solidified his orchestral sound and earned him his place in the Progressive House scene.

    Born Steven John Alvarez in Riverside, California, whose talents go beyond EDM. He branched out towards composing, producing his first score in the 2015 indy film, The Visitor. He then continued on to score Tukes Films’ 2016 short, Star Wars: Wrath of the Sith, and Shaun Lee White’s 2018 film, Cassette.
