GC074 - Prisma Deer

Prisma Deer is a dj and producer from Costa Rica. His musical taste revolves around the genres of house, funk, disco, nu disco and indie dance. 

He has shared his music in events with international djs such as Dino Soccio, Big Pack, Fran Deeper, Rayko, The Funk District, Alexny, Marco Carola, Oscar L, Sidney Charles, Ben Spalding, Adam Collins and Nico Saav. He is co-founder of the record label Cross Fade, that also throws monthly parties with local and international dj guests. He is host of a weekly radio show in Amplify 95.5 FM.

As a producer he has released digital music in labels such as Spa in Disco, Spa Club, Sundries, Mango Sounds, Dynamite Disco Club, Furious Mandrill, And Friends, Disko Knights, Dusty Disko and Disco Vibes and a vinyl release on Super Spicy Records.

The Black Light Disco Show returned for its weekly tickling of the  myhouseradio.fm airwaves - and here's the whole two hours in all of its glory! 

It’s an all residents affair again this week with Esteban & Goz priming the confetti cannons and arming the glitter bombs here in the BLD Towers events space. The lads have been working away in the ‘Sonic Achievables Lab’ all weekend so it’ll be nice for them to take in the neon gases and disco particulates of the events space. They’ve both got their nebulisers so we assume they’ll be ok.

Esteban kicks things off with a set that's heavy on the bass and weaves effortlessly in and out of disco & house, featuring the likes of Corrado Alunni, Birdee & Keli Sae, Never Dull, More Amour and Jo Paciello to name but a few. 

Goz then takes over for the second hour - taking things up a notch and swinging things around from jazzy nonchalance to deep grooves and killer disco. Expect pure fire tracks from Delfonic & Kapote, Saison & Miss Patty, Andy Bach and Aaron Swales amongst others.

As the main track, "Love Is Easy" with the beautiful voice of Mikalyn, delicious minimal to enjoy not only when you are playing or dancing in the club, but at any time of the day, a rhythmic base full of groove with very subtle stabs and a elegant bass line complete this hit. As a second cut, "Never Forget", a deeper track, with vocal touches, a very powerful combination of kick and bass and a hypnotizing melody, YORY is a professional, he knows how to make us fall in love. Definitely spectacular!!
