'The goal of these two songs was to create something that could sound disco with a fat Moog style synth bass line, but at the same time classic and groovy'.
Collaborating with the phenomenal voice of Dyanna Fearon, their track 'Make Your Move' is the perfect cross over of deep house and disco. Beefy bass lines, thumping drums and choppy guitar groovers, layered with emotive synths and evocative vocals.

Toy Tonics delievers the 4th pre-single of label boss KAPOTE’s upcoming 2nd album: Selfish Gods.

A house song. The backing track is pure late 80ies Chicago vibes. Raw, a bit jacking, 124 bpm Dance music in a Frankie Knuckles vibe. While the bassline and chord progression played by Kapote come from jazz funk. A melancholic atmosphere with a blues feel. Over all this, you have the vocals by Kapote’s girlfriend Lana Tomasei. Singing in charming English with a light accent about one of the main problems of young people today: finding your very own personality and way of life in a world where we are surrounded by people who seem to have ‘perfect lives’ or ‘narcissic attitudes’ that create uncertainties in us. Kapote called them the ‘selfish gods’ that we should stop to follow.
