Celebrated UK Soulful house producer Ben Smethurst has spent the last 20 years steadily building a reputation as one of the UK's most talented artists. His latest release see's the launch of a brand new alias 'The Pleasure Principle', a pseudonym dedicated to the disco edges of house music.

His brand new release 'Coral Drive Hustler' on his own @expressiverecords label see's him enlist some incredible artists to help him bring his vision to fruition with a stand out vocal from the hugely talented Heidi Vogel and a brilliant remix from from Toni Economides, one of London's musical heavyweights.

Our premier today is Ben's original mix and it's very special indeed. Warm and vibrant Ben's production perfectly captures the quality of 70's disco but with that 2021 production nous. Platinum City (@phil-rose-1973) have been absolutely on fire with their recent releases. Nothing But The Music, Rise and Holy Spirit have all peppered the top reaches of the major download sites and picked up stellar DJ support across the globe from a who's who of DJ royalty. They are very much a production team on the move.

Their latest release see's serial chart topper, Miami's Mark Brickman (@rambunktious), taking on the remix duties for their ridiculously smooth track Time For A Change. The original mix landed back in July featuring a dynamite vocal from Suki Soul and picked up big support from Dr Packer and The Reflex amongst many others.
