Der alte Mann und das kleine Kind

Wenn die Nacht dem Morgen endlich weicht, wenn das Licht den Horizont erreicht, 
geht ein Mann noch durch das Land, 
sucht die Liebe, die er niemals fand.

Der Tag erwacht, die Sonne steigt empor. 
Der Mann kommt sich alt und einsam vor. Viele Jahre so allein, 
auf der Suche nach dem wahren Sein.

Ist nun die Zeit für den Mann nach Hause zu gehen? 
Ist er bereit, sich noch einmal umzudrehen? 
Er schaut so traurig, die Hoffnung scheint dahin. 
Geht er allein oder bleibt doch jemand steh‘n? 
Hört ihm zu und wird ihn dann verstehen.

Menschen rasen sinnlos durch die Stadt. Keiner mehr Zeit für Worte hat. 
Chaos in der ganzen Welt. 
Der Mann weiß nur, dass dies ihm nicht gefällt.

Ist nun die Zeit für den Mann nach Hause zu gehen? 
Ist er bereit, sich noch einmal umzudrehen? 
Er schaut so traurig, die Hoffnung scheint dahin. 
Geht er allein oder bleibt doch jemand steh‘n? Hört ihm zu und wird ihn dann verstehen.

Kleine Finger berührten plötzlich seine Hand. "Hey du, komm doch mit in unser Land. 
Wo die Freiheit friedlich ist. 
Wo du der Geliebte unter Lieben bist.

Es ist nun Zeit, sich endlich umzudrehen. 
Es ist die Chance nie mehr alleine zu stehen. Die Tränen rannen auf das kleine Kind. 
Er ging mit ihm in das versprochene Land, 
wo er die Träume und die Liebe fand.
