The 20th release all together the various sounds of the label V/A "The Phantom Images". With this issue we mark an important date for us - 5 years of our activity. We tried to collect our best releases and join future label artists. https://soundcloud.com/david-carretta will present his solo single for our label in 2021.

Discreet personality of the French techno scene, David Caretta is none the less one of his pioneers. During his teens in the French southwest, he was nurtured by punk and new wave, before setting up his first band in 1988, which could be described as industrial or EBM. Even if David has played in Europe since that time, his career will benefit from a new impulse with the release of his first two LPs,  Le Catalogue Electronique (1999) and Kill Your Radio (2004), during a period which corresponds to the rise of  Electroclash. Alongside Vitalic or Miss Kittin & The Hacker, he is part of this generation of musicians, from techno, who then renew with the rock, sexy and dark inspiration of their adolescence marked by the new wave, bringing attitude and disruptive spirit  to a rave scene out of inspiration. 25 years on since his debut release Carretta is still at his creative best.

Originally from Miami and now based in New York, Alonzo has previously released on W.T. Records, Zement, RotterHague, Phormix, Kraftjerkz, and Lost Soul Enterprises. He's also known as Lithium Parasites alongside bandmate, Vidrio. Alonzo's uncompromising approach draws influence from bleak urban landscapes, old city ruins, kinematics and all things bass which he finely represents across these 8 new tracks. "The one with the Eyes" by @rgamble is @marguerite-records' 13th release.
The tracks were all written between the summer and fall of 2020. The pandemic was in its bewildering initial phase when daily life had come apart from its familiar rhythms. The tracks describe this disruption and the return to a musical primordial state by limiting the field of vision to locate the essential. In fact, the artist limited himself with one synthesizer, one drum machine, and a sequencer and the instinct guided him shaping these little vignettes. Now nearly two years later they’re being released into a world that has in many ways resumed its regulated flow. We hope people can still catch a glimpse of that other world outside of time, the vague fear crystallized, the shadows made by afternoon sunbeams gliding like continents across the floor. Marguerite Records owners the duo @bianconegativo were strongly impressed by the last album track 'Precious Arc' and decided to make a remix in a dark cinematic key.

Daribone, aka Daniel Boubet, is a Berlin-based Chilean producer, live act, and co-owner of Mechatronica—a German label and music collective. Passionate about nostalgic synthesizer sounds, his genre-spanning releases fuse electro and synthpop with a raw, shamanic mix of EBM and new beat. Known for dynamic live shows featuring hardware synths and drum machines, his track "4th Dimensional Creature" showcases his mastery of New Beat sound.
