I'm fairly new to making hip hop instrumentals but I have plenty of experience with song writing, in general. I've been heavily involved in the Indianapolis hard rock / metal scene (Presomnia) and fairly involved in the indie rock scene, as well (Simple Ghost).

I've always been a huge fan of hip hop, though. Before I started playing guitar in bands, I started off as a hip hop artist. 

I've always been a fan of uniquely crafted hip hop instrumentals, as opposed to the generic formats I generally hear on the radio. I like when producers such as Kanye West and Clams Casino approach their instrumentals not using the typical radio formats.
