Opening track 'Out of control' draws you in immediately with its metallic percussion subdued by grave synths and deep horns, while the whispered, almost non-existent vocal sample adds to its overall deep and dark aesthetic. With its rolling bass-line ,"Refugia” seems to be the perfect club follow-up to ease the built-up rhythmic tension, while the Australian artist Uone gives the track an even lighter, energetic makeover. Despite its name, "Glowing" takes us on a dungeon ride by means of heavy hitting percussion, whilst Audiojack pump it with a dose of high-pitched fidgety synths for their killer remix.

It was in 2014 when a mutual friend introduced me to Victor Ruiz while he was staying here in Berlin. I invited Victor to my studio where we had a fantastic session, playing our music to each other, listening to stuff we like and simply talkin and connecting. Since then, we became close friends as well as starting to work together. Victor has released two outstanding EPs on Electric Ballroom by now. This summer we met again and recorded three tracks. The ambient/electronic work ‘Stare’ is a true family effort from Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm with Anne Müller joining in on cello and all graphics by close label-friend and now in-house designer Torsten Posselt of Feld Studios.
