Love Is In The Air

In the first sample I have changed the melody to be more colourful and not so much of a repeat of the initial phrase.

In the second sample, I have completely removed the main percussion apart from the drum rolls. The opening melody has been retained, but instead replaced with my vocals and a harp plays a variation of arpeggios in the background.

This is around the 4th revision or so of the virtue of "Truth" theme as a stand alone track to be played in certain zones in-game. It is composed primarily of medieval (the zither) and early-renaissance strings. An innocent music box alludes back to the original "Power of Virtue" song.

Feeling the tears well up in my eyes
I fight them back, I do not want to cry

racing for the shadows, "safer here" i lied

With colours more vibrant then my personal greys

A feeling of cold darkness enters my soul
Alone once again, can I keep fighting, i do not know.

I soon started to remember what you helped me want from my life
I must seek out the light, it will hurt but it will be alright

Things will move forward, although my heart feels like dying
I will face another day, with an exclamation mark of sighing.

I tried to make this track both a little atmospheric and "creepy" sounding since it will be played among ruins and such.  However, since it's also a combat song, I worked hard to give it a urgent, aggressive feel as well.  I hope you like it.

This piece is the result of a collaboration between Drocis Fondorlatos, Richard Daskas, Sharm, and Jarrod Kailef. Drocis wrote the lyrics and reached out to some Poets' Circle members to bring the song to life. This song is intended to be the theme music for Drocis' player owned town, "Rats Nest".
