I had a phenomenal time at my first Love Burn in Miami last week and absolutely thrilled that the highlight of my week playing at 2 hour Bass House & Tech House set at The Freakeasy's Kitty Kat Island on Friday night was recorded!  What an amazing feeling to rock a packed dancefloor full of my Bay Area crew and new fans from far and wide under a giant geometric cat with freakin' laser beams shooting out of its mouth!  Hope you can feel the HEAT (both literally and figuratively) when listening to this mix. Thanks to Radiohiro for having me play and for building such an awesome production. DJ ICON Live At Kitty Kat Island - Love Burn Miami 2023

FNF has meant so much to me since the first time I attended in 2001. It was the location where much of the early Brass Tax crew came to really know and love each other. Its former location, Walter and Jane Camp's land in Willets, inspired me to own my own land someday. 

When I was given the honor to play the closing set on Sunday morning, I knew I had to make it special with tracks that are as close to my heart as this campout. North Cack is an ode to my home state of NC. Drop the Hate was a track that OG BTx DJ Loosebeats would use to close many of our early 420 renegades. Dog Days was a song that got me through a particularly hard patch of summer last year, and anyone who knows me well knows how much Willie means to my family and how much Rainbow Connection means to Brass Tax. 

Many thanks to the FNF crew and all the work you do to make this campout an enduring bright light every year, and to the Music Committee for gifting me my dream slot and allowing me to bring this one home in 2023. And thanks to Brad Katz and his crew, who make that main stage bass thump like nobody else can.

A rare genre-spanning set that maintains a very funky vibe throughout, this is my live performance from the SoCal festival The Gathering XI in 2024.  Honoring the event's tradition for Funky Fridays, I slung this one that rocks some mid-tempo breaks and glitch hop, then slides on over to some booty house and big room bass with a couple select classics. There's nothing like playing for that crowd of dedicated festival veterans!
