This set has been in development for a long time. Originally arranged for 2024 campout season, it was shelved for nearly a year. More tracks were acquired and integrated in 2025, abd a bunch that were originally in didn't make the final cut. I've been taking some time off from DJing while learning to play guitar and pursue other creative outlets, but I felt the inspiration to dust off the decks and finally get this set finished. I'm pleased with how it turned out and I hope you enjoy it! If you do, drop a <3, repost and follow me. I'll try to not let an entire year go by before the next recording gets published!

Strategik Memorial Day Set 2025 - Peak Tech House & Bass House

I’ve been sitting on this way too long. In 2024, I attended Sunsets and Shadows @sunsets-shadows and met so many people who are now my Reno family. Fast forward to 2025 summer and I was asked to play the first sunrise. The assignment: “deep dark and groovy” is the sound of the event. But 6am. So I took that as a challenge to create a journey of something that has two layers of deep dark and groovy, and light and optimism. This is one of my favorite sets I’ve done and I hope you enjoy it too!

My set from Brass Tax's 25th annual 6:66 party.  I dressed as Soul Twain (Mark Twain up top, Soul Train downtown) and played a mix of gospel & disco house.  Really happy with this one - was a great groove to help kick off the best daytime party of the year.  Shout out to Dedit for music inspiration.

After a one-year hiatus, I was really stoked to be back in the BOC lineup this year. In the past when I've played this party, what I remember most is a sea of friendly faces on the floor, and meeting lots of people who really appreciate good music. This year was no different: a great party with an unbeatable vibe. I had a later set this year, so I played the "stay sober" game the whole day by dancing my ass off and hanging with friends. There was incredible music everywhere - props to ALL the DJs. 

When I went on at 5pm it was really flattering to see how many friends had stayed for my set, and I was really fired-up to drop some a high-energy music. This recording is a mix of house, electro and breaks, with some original songs from my partner Chad and I, and another original called Rat Tat Tat Tat that I think works pretty well on the dance floor.
