Playing the 25th Anniversary of Breakfast of Champions was an absolute honor. The Space Cowboys have been a huge inspiration in my journey as a DJ, so getting the chance to represent Brooklyn at BOC this year was a dream come true. Sharing the stage with legends like Sporty-O  & Thug Shells  —who both came out to perform with me—made it even more special.
Knowing I was playing for a veteran crowd that’s heard and danced to some of the best breaks out there, I knew I had to bring my A-game. I think I accurately delivered my sound, keeping the energy high and the dance floor moving until the very end. Closing out the legendary MOG Stage alongside my mentors was an unforgettable experience.
Huge thanks to DJ Deckard, Rumblemunk, and the entire Space Cowboys crew for welcoming me with open arms and making me feel at home!

This set has been in development for a long time. Originally arranged for 2024 campout season, it was shelved for nearly a year. More tracks were acquired and integrated in 2025, abd a bunch that were originally in didn't make the final cut. I've been taking some time off from DJing while learning to play guitar and pursue other creative outlets, but I felt the inspiration to dust off the decks and finally get this set finished. I'm pleased with how it turned out and I hope you enjoy it! If you do, drop a <3, repost and follow me. I'll try to not let an entire year go by before the next recording gets published!

Funk The World 05

This week on The RIPEcast some East coast flavor (although not what you might expect) from DC's All Good Funk Alliance (a.k.a. Rusty Belicek and Frank Cueto).

"We try to draw inspiration from every style of music and we are always looking to new sounds for something that we can relate to and gain a creative perspective from" says Rusty. "I went a bit different then our normal style as this is for the Space Cowboys. Lately I have been hanging out with some younger producers in DC who dig on Trap and Seapunk music. I got inspired and dug through these newer genres and dug out the funky gems. I think Space Cowboys is the only place we could see dropping this mix. We hope you dig it."

When it comes to All Good Funk Alliance, always expect the unexpected. This spring AGFA is set to drop a new album with Fort Knox Recordings—a genre-spanning release featuring go-go drums, spaced-out synths and funky bass-lines. It marks a new direction for All Good Funk Alliance, and is somewhat of a departure from their signature sound, but fans needn't stress—this is one duo that never leaves the funk behind.

Made up of Frank Cueto and Rusty Belicek, All Good Funk Alliance has opened up for the legendary James Brown, written songs for Coca-Cola and appeared on the Breakspoll Top 50 list. In other words, these guys are no strangers to the funk. And while their musical tastes range the gamut, when Frank and Rusty join forces the end result is always the same: they deliver a sound that is funky, fun and fresh.

All Good Funk Alliance has long been lauded by critics and fans alike, and DJs looking to inject flavor into their sets invariably seek out that unmistakable AGFA sound. Their remix of big band legend Woody Herman's track, "Mambo Herd," was met with critical acclaim, and the boys recently signed a major remix deal to put their indelible, funk-infused spin on Kraak and Smaak's hit album “Plastic People." When AGFA's release, "REC," dropped in 2007, Properly Chilled described it as "modern funk mixing the best of hip hop and funk [with] lots of percussion breakdowns."
