Kimba is a fresh face and has been gracing the decks with her warrior-like presence throughout California from her home in San Francisco throughout the West coast from San diego to Seattle and everywhere in between. Kimba brings a sound best described as Elegant Warrior Breaks, Drum&Bass & Techno ~ a fusion of Sweet and Heavy sounds programmed to take you on a journey through every mix.  She brings deep dark basslines intertwined with melodic and musical themes to touch a cord in every dancer. 

Kimba always finds a way to incorporate the musical and instrumental nature of her first influences from Deep House into the heavy forces of bass, breakbeats, drum&bass and even techno.  Getting people onto the dancefloor and seeing smiling, dancing people is really what makes her happy to be a DJ.

I have had the opportunity to play at BOC many times, but never before had I been given the chance to open the party at 6 am.  It was a unique feeling to start playing a completely empty room, but within minutes I watched as people literally came running into the main room and immediately started dancing.   The dance floor completely filled up in 15 minutes and the energy and vibe from the crowd was awesome.   I hope everyone enjoyed as much as I did.  Thanks to the Space Cowboys to continue to throw the best party of the year.  Rock on! - Clarkie

I started making this mix series 11 years ago to celebrate my birthday and DJ anniversary.  After a short break, I am pleased to bring the tradition back to life with Twenty-Two, celebrating my 50th birthday and 22 years of DJing. I usually set a lot of rules for programming these studio mixes but I let that all go for this mix and just chose what moved me. I hope it moves you too! I found the album cover quite fitting, which was taken at my 40th at the first ShOOnanigans 10 years ago! 

I am excited to celebrate my 50th at Public Works SF on Sat 7/19! We have one of my favorite producers, Aylen, headlining along with special guests and my long-time friends Dulce Vita (Opulent Temple), Haute Mess (Brass Tax), and Nugz (Dusty Rhino).
