Laima Adelaide - Opening set Tresor Berlin (new faces), 04.09.2024

Here is the recording of my opening set for new faces at Tresor Berlin.
In this format I only played my own productions and a few remixes. Also it was a challenge to create a storyline with a fixed set of tracks. 
I started to release this sound in 2020 and it has given me a lot of joy to work on music (and also some pain now and then), meet people from the scene and travel to places to perform.

There’s a rhythm to how the festival unfolds. Thursday opens slowly, almost like a breath in. By Friday night, the pulse is stronger, but not too heavy. Monument festival had settled into its rhythm, and Kia and Polygonia stepped into the wooden dj-booth together.

The forest floor was vibrating, the crowd fully present. Their set matched the moment—playful, warm, and alive. It felt like Friday was always meant to sound like this. Varden became their playground.

This was more than a strong back-to-back. Two years earlier, they met here, both playing solo, both part of the Monument line-up for the first time. This night marked an anniversary of their friendship. From solo artists to close friends, now creating something special together.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ SOFIA KUZ & GLEDIS

Söfia Kuz, born in Siberia, Russia, has a rich and diverse musical journey that reflects both her cultural background and evolving artistic identity. Since moving to Milan in 2018, where she currently resides, Sofia's passion for music has truly flourished. Despite growing up immersed in music—singing in choirs and classical studies—it was in Milan's vibrant scene that she found her calling in electronic music. 
Her sets are a testament to her wide-ranging musical influences and her ability to blend genres seamlessly. Grounded in techno, her music often incorporates groovy rhythms, dark and melancholic tones, and occasionally, more vibrant, industrial, and trance elements. 
Sofia's journey from classical music roots to the electronic beats of Milan's underground scene illustrates her versatility and dedication as an artist, establishing her as a rising figure in the electronic music community.

Giorgia, known as Gledis, is a young promise and up-and-coming DJ with an innate passion for music. Since she was a teenager, she has nurtured her love for music by learning to play the piano. 
Always eager to learn new things, she started studying music production, and that's when Gledis began her journey in the world of electronic music as a DJ. Started to grown her DJ figure with Bunkr collective and now is part of Die Sekte collective with a residency at their Klubnacht. 
Her performances range between purists Techno and goes to Trance when in the right situation. She is ambitious and dedicated, constantly striving to improve her skills and this is why she breaks the dancefloors with her unique sound.

Marius Bø is a figure within the northern hemisphere of the electronic music landscape, his artistry is deeply rooted in a profound connection to nature's atmosphere and the communal spirit of open-air gatherings. As one of the co-founders of the Oslo-based collective Ute, Marius' musical journey finds its origins nestled amidst the Norwegian forests. It is here, between the trees and rustling leaves, that his sound took root, hosting and playing parties deep in the woods. From hazy braindance to high-energy vibrations in mist-shrouded forests, balmy shores and dimly-lit basements, Marius navigates diverse settings with his distinctive musical style that takes a gentle yet firm grip on the soul. 

His unique approach has brought him to iconic venues such as Pawnshop, Bassiani, and Macadam, and to international festivals like Monument in the heart of Norway’s forest, Organik on a hidden peninsula in Taiwan and Outsider Festival, deep in the Australian bush. Whether in intimate clubs or verdant outdoor landscapes, Marius' music carries an organic and trippy spirit that transcends time and space.
