ODTD039 sees the Øddity return of Casper Cole following his debut last December on Odd Echoes Vol.5 with ‘Fortuna’. Now is the right time to delve deeper into his talents, calling on outstanding support from vocalist Ed Begley and Fur Coat for the remix.

Emotion fuelled title track ‘Matter Of Time’ has all the attributes to storm the melodic techno charts. Featuring a stunning vocal from Ed Begley and a brilliant arrangement from Casper, who allows Ed’s voice to shine while embellishing and layering analogue elements to complement his tones - heightening the sense of drama and tugging at the heart strings. Expect this to feature heavily in key DJ playlists.

After signing the original Øddity label boss Sergio Muñoz knew a Fur Coat Remix was needed to fully unleash the clubbing potential for this great track. Sergio amplifies all the important elements, while cranking up the energy and intensity. Deep pulsating stabs and punchy beats are underpinned by beautiful warm synths and subtle effects on Ed’s vocal to create a truly compelling clubbing moment. 
The breakdown is a lesson in composition, taking ‘Matter Of Time’ up to a whole new level as the driving beats then re-enter and raise the roof.

Closing track ‘Overground’ gives a wider insight into Casper as a producer, as he delivers a dark intense dance-floor cut with echoed arp lines, throbbing bass and rolling percussion. The break allows a brief release of tension, before drawing you back into the cavernous sounds. Perfect for an extended DJ set in a hot dark club.

Twelve releases and a hefty load of aid to families across the African continent later, Lost on You - the first and only record label to give 100% of its profits to charity - is still knocking out the bombs, recently ranking amongst the top 38 of Beatport’s Melodic House & Techno labels. It’s Brigado Crew & Crisstiano who bring the boom boom boom on Lost on You’s latest release, a high-fidelity offering of oscillator
explorations designed for sunrise at the after party.

Opening track ‘Burning' features the haunting vocal whispers of Haptic - a first for the usually
instrumental club banger repertoire of LoY - and it works to soul-stirring effect. Haptic meanders through dark synthesised passages, his early 80s purring endowing the song with an electro feel, cutting through the silence and ushering in alleys of purple light from all directions. A big warm-up track.

Track two, ‘Rebellion' brings a Nico Jaar-esque wandering into play, as a cat smirks and strolls down the sidewalk. Juicy, bouncy and irrepressibly contagious, ‘Rebellion’ is a chugger, a one-punch slugger that keeps getting back up for more. This is real head-spinning tech house for the space-out-and-forget crew.

Track three is the eponymous ‘Elephants’, a safari-tinged adventure into the places where great beasts play. But what starts as a casual expedition soon devolves into madness as the mammalian world takes on a life of its own, Elephantine tribes encircle the only exits, and you give yourself up to nature.

The main feeling you take away from the Elephants EP is one of adventure not usually found in electronic music, of being guided somewhere - somewhere better - by invisible forces. And maybe there’s a parallel with the thousands of disadvantaged people who, because of this revolutionary record label, are now experiencing aid, however minor it may be. The second edition of 'Terra Incognita' builds an epic union of the amazing producers and their breathtaking music pieces.
Greek producer Ziger and his 'After Midnight' became of the most successful Progressive House tracks of 2018, and now Ziger opens curtains of the release with 'Transparent' - a track, the pulsing energy of which lays the world of colorful melodies onto the right path.
The Lithuanian producer Kastis Torrau signed to Last Night On Earth and Visceral from the small pinch to mention comes up with our Mexican brother Betoko (Diynamic, Einmusika, KATERMUKKE) to deliver 'Raketa' - the bass-density track, which is looping you into the vibe with its crazy electric sounds from its first seconds till the last ones.
Our French friend Acumen, the label owner of Time Has Changed Recordings and the artist with a rich catalog where Selador, Leena Music, Tenampa just some to match, does 'Puppet' - a great melodic tune fitting to roll the mood of the night.
A very promising live act, the professional violinist and the producer from Germany Seth Schwarz puts his music mind together with Stephan Zovsky for 'Ometion' - lyrical and rich on progressions track, that's what we are very big fans of here.
Turkey-based producer Deniz Kabu combines a perfect match of the vocals, the progressions, and the acid sounds into a track which is called 'In A Life'; the track which has already seen another perspective from Diynamic label-boss Solomun during his sets.
That's how the unknown spots from the world illuminate all the spots of our big planet with music, as we set no boundaries. As a 'must'.
