First extract taken from Kadosh's inaugural album for Stil vor Talent, "Unanimously" (to be released in august), debut single "Sandcastles (Feat. Abrão)" smooths the way with dashing style and panache. Doped on steroid-fuelled Italo basswaves and irresistible 80s synth-pop accents, this new delivery from the Tel-Aviv-based vibist and electronic mastermind Johannes Albert has us surfing a crest of luminescent vibrations and wistful echoes interlaced. Grooving at the perfect rate for hypnotic floor entrancement this summer and beyond, "Sandcastles" engulfs us headlong into a baroque landslide of neon-clad melodies and arpeggiated wizardry, beautifully fleshed out by the suavity of Abrão's silky-smooth timbre. A racing tale of neo-noir, nocturnal love caught in a hail of stroboscopic lights and gung-ho keyboard onfall that keeps on giving bar after bar. Feel the bliss, on a loop.

Two fresh interpretations for Kamilo Sanclemente's trademark single 'Dew' which was released last year.

Industry veterans Weekend Heroes are on fire lately with a continuous output of very big releases. They've just topped the Beatport progressive house chart with their single 'Upside Down' whilst their other singles 'Lucid', 'Brightlight' and 'Dragonfly' and 'Off Limit' also moved quite a few crowds to say the least. They deliver a proper peak time melodic progressive house rework here, top shelve stuff!

On the flipside we welcome on board Ceci for his Manual Music debut. The Italian producer provides a nice contrast to the ruggedness of the other remix, going for a more laid back approach. Lovely organic instruments and flowing airy soundscapes make this a true dreamer.

Two strong remixes that certainly do Kamilo's original justice.

Kamilo Sanclemente - Dew (Weekend Heroes Remix)

Ziger lands back on ICONYC this week with a brand-new single entitled 'Feel the Bass'. The Greek producer continues to be one of the top tier progressive house artists with continued support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, along with releases on Eleatics, Beatfreak, Sudbeat and his own Eat My Hat imprint. 

'Feel The Bass' finds Ziger at his creative best with a driving, hypnotic production that's nicely dialed in or the dance floor. Punchy beats and a full, driving groove anchor the piece, as vibrant tones and spacey effects adorn the framework. The main break hits suddenly and its astral charm quickly saturates your pleasure centers, before melting down to a cavernous reservoir as the beats drop for a storming finale. 

The first remix of 'Feel the Bass' comes courtesy of LA based producer Anakim who returns to the label with a deep melodic remix here. The US artist reshapes the original elements into something deeper and more melodic spacious sounding. The wonk factor on the low end is quite high and monumentally groovy as well, nicely playing off the rolling rhythmic qualities as dulcet hooks and gentle harmonics drift in and out of the framework. The main break shifts the narrative into more emotive territory but the dance floor sensibility remains, with muted beats and percussive clusters building towards a tasteful drop. Superb rework from Anakim. 

The third and final interpretation comes from label debutants Propellar. The Berlin based duo follow excellent releases on MUKKE, Katz & Kauz and Family Piknik with a brilliant interpretation here. Deep, compelling and acutely mysterious, it's deep melodic qualities and richly textured groove make for a lovely first act. As atmospheres evolve, distinctive stabs and vocal edits steal the air, before a one-minute break takes you further into a haze of psychedelic audio, perfectly setting up a groovy finale. A brilliant remix from Propellar that's likely destined for the sets of the big boy brigade. Highly recommended.
