about 8 months ago tracks began accumulating into these different waves or segments of song. with connections forming over time, it was clear that I really wanted to have a large format extended mix made. this is equally the longest mix I've ever recorded and played at once.

With 2016 showing some very promising and exciting news in the drum and bass community here in Austin TX, I wanted to record and release another all vinyl mix. A spontaneous move that I arranged and recorded in just a few hours. This mix has tunes from some of my very favorite producers including Ed Rush & Optical, Teebee, Calibre, Marcus Intalex, Dom & Roland, and more. Edging on the harder and deeper side of dnb that I usually hold onto for live shows, I hope this mix still gives you some idea of the soul and character we've grown to love about the genre. after twenty something years of vinyl dj'ing i wanted to curate a mix that shows what has interested me not just in the dance, but in the car, living room, headphones, sleepytown, etc. 

for a few years now i've been dreaming of a massive 3 hour long mix to give you glimpses into what drives me within genres. at just over an hour, i feel like it's just as well.

I'm not an electronic producer. The music I've posted here was mostly made on an old Organ and a friend's fruit loops recorded together in real-time through a single cheap condenser mic. 
I love ALL kinds of music from folk to electronic and I believe that euphoric dance parties are the cosmic pura vida.
