I watched some years ago a TED presentation, and I was impressed by an interesting idea about sheep and sheperds. I do not recall the topic of the presentation nor the identity of the presenter. Here I wrote down the basic idea in my words and made some extrapolation regarding our human condition.

How clever of sheep to acquire shepherds!
Doing so, they outsource their protection from predators
their food finding, their health maintenance.
All that for just a small loss of freedom.
They can even afford to be more stupid
than their relatives trying to survive in the wild.
And that is why, at each new dawn, 
I prostrate myself and praise the Lord, 
the Gracious, the Merciful, saving us from extinction.    
Thanks to Him, I can afford to be a mindless idiot.

Green on Green ...is a military term for friendly fire...  using it to describe Newport /UK Dylan incidents,  extending this to one's teenage years, family expectations, etc...
...   furthermore, the song could be  about search for identity   conformity vs. rebellion and being true to yourself through it all, blah blah blah
Somehow, I worked  Susan Dey from the Partridge Family and Patty Hearst in there-the yin and yang of my adolescent fantasies

Dylan wrote half the bridge for me ..thx man I owe you

opening soundclip is Dylan being heckled in England as they are warming up to play Like A Rolling Stone and just before he tells the band to play it f#$g loud

Ein Spaziergang im Watt
beruhigt die Nerven und kühlt die Füße. Was könnte entspannter sein nach einem aufregenden und anstrengendem Tag am Meer. Viele Stunden mit warmer Sonne, Salzwasser auf der Haut und Eis im Bauch, liegen zurück.
Die Kinds haben sich ausgetobt. Mit wildem Gebrüll wurden Spielplätze erobert, Möwen verjagt und langweilige Erwachsene mit Wasser bespritzt. Anschließend wurde der Strand unsicher gemacht und tote Quallen als Wurfgeschosse missbraucht. Nun liegen die beiden friedlich in eine Decke eingekuschelt im Hotelzimmer.
Endlich haben wir ein bisschen Zeit für uns, nur eben eine frische Brise im Rucksack verstaut und die Wanderung bei Dämmerung kann beginnen.
Noch einmal tief durchatmen und den Frieden, die Stille des Wattmeeres genießen.
