Originally hailing from an indie/folk-pop background the singer-songwriter has always been drawn to dark ambient vibes and ultimately found her footing in techno. Marrying the two influences Natascha Polké manages to interweave what might appear like an unusual match into sublime melancholic productions transcending stylistic boundaries. Driving beats and haunting pads are flattered by her intimate vocals, telling stories of blurring lines between reality and illusion, diving deep into unknown corners of the human mind.
�After living in London for several years and holding a residency at the Roundhouse (LDN), Natascha Polké now resides in Switzlerand and regularly DJs at Zurich’s Hive, as well as frequently playing events such as Klangheimlich and Motion Beach Festival. Her most recent merger is with the Swiss-based label Definition:Music, which has been making waves in the electronic scene since 2011 and launched the career of none other than the Ukrainian electro-duo ARTBAT. Whilst producing all tracks herself she mixed her 2021 EP in a collaboration with no other than Jan Blomqvist’s team in Berlin.
It’s easy to lose yourself in Natascha Polké’s music, get carried away by melancholic waves with an edge of longing, underpinned by pulsing bass lines and beats you can’t help but nod along to.

We wish you all good moments and good vibes with the last Karambula Podcast from Vanita.

Based in the beautiful city of Zürich / Switzerland and with strong roots in Italy Vanessa Spolidoro, better known to friends and followers of electronic club music under her artistic nom de guerre Vanita, has come a long way since she appeared on the scene back in 2009.

Inspired by an ever growing love for House and Techno music throughout her teenage years and the vast variety of unheard artificial sounds created with the help of synthesizers, both analogue and digital, Vanita took to DJ'ing and played her first ever club set at the tender age of 19 before she started to become involved in music production in 2010, first working with several friends before embarking on a solo tip to sharpen and refine her studio skills over the years to come.

Gaining notoriety in Zürich and beyond Vanita slowly, yet constantly built her reputation as an aspiring DJ on the rise, playing more and more club nights and finally secured a resident spot at the infamous Hive Club in her hometown in 2014, a first breakthrough point in her career as this residency meant a regular presence in one of the hotspots of Switzerland's club scene.

Parallel, endless hours spent in the studio turned out to be fruitful as well, leading to releases on several smaller labels before imprints like Draft Label and Einmusika offspring EIN2 picked up on Vanita's tunes for singles in 2015 and 2017 respectively before her „Awareness EP“ was signed to Berlin's Katermukke-imprint in 2018, another step that took Vanita to a next level.

With her tracks gaining recognition on an international level and a steady public exposure through the Hive Club residency where she continously plays alongside globally renowned artists it's no wonder that Vanita soon entered the league of globetrotting DJ's herself. To this date she played in neabry countries like Germany and the Netherlands but also took off on a long distance to elevate crowds in Thailand, South Africa, Israel and the United States with energetic sets and a captivating stage presence.

Whilst keeping with an ever busy schedule and growing air mileage in 2019 Vanita has been busy in the studio and recently released her „Rain EP“ on Hive Audio, an overdue fortification of her long standing relationship with Switzerland's busiest club meets label business.

VanNeel is an artist who has made a name for himself in the Swiss underground scene through his unique style of music.

Since his early years VanNeel was fascinated by electronic music with its strong kicks, basses, and rave culture.
When he was 16 years old, he purchased his first drum machine and started to produce tirelessly. Step by step he expanded his studio in Zürich where he began to release his self-produced tracks, mix sets for different music pages, and organize his bookings.
Since 2015, he’s been playing at Zürichs' most notorious techno clubs and day parties to share his passion for this energetic music.

Born in the 80s in an East German town near Dresden, Paul discovered at a young age that music was something big in his life.
It started with listening to 80s synth-pop through his father's headphones.
In 2005, after years in the punk rock and skateboard scene, he started buying electronic music on vinyl at the local record store and mixing it.
He has now been a resident of Zurich since 2014 and has already played almost every club in the city.
Looking back on his performance at one of the mainstages of Streetparade in 2017 and many bookings with afterlife acts, it was not a bad choice to move to Zurich.
Now he is resident at the event label Karambula since mid 2020.

Luke DM is a DJ and producer of the Alternative Electronic Underground Music scene of Zurich (Switzerland), born and raised in Italy, with Swiss and German roots.
He's been performing mostly for secret rave but also for bigger events in some of the most important Swiss clubs, Festivals & venues abroad (Italy, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Mexico), and has been playing next to artists such as Giorgia Angiulli, Magit Cacoon, Hosh etc.
His prevalent and distinguished style of music is Deep Melodic progressive House and Techno.
In the year 2019 dedicated himself as Main Act and Host of a series of “New Rave Concept” Events with international acts with a Party label named "Le Glitch", also hosted a radio show for “Radio Lora” and a series of weekly Livestream showcase events at the Lima Bar Kaufleuten, other then differents pop up events, with different concept and nature.

Giuseppe Russo has been interested in electronic music since he was young. Constantly on the move in the party scene and with great passion for music, he began to take his first steps in the DJ scene. His breakthrough came with his performance at Private Fiction, at Kaufleuten.  When the headliner suddenly could not come, he was allowed to perform in his place and that with success. This gave Giuseppe Russo the motivation to work even harder on himself and share his passion. Giuseppe Russo is also a producer and with his style he always tries to expand his horizons. Excitement is certainly guaranteed with him.
