In the early hours of Sunday 1st November 2020,  just after halloween, my oldest sister was tragically taken away from this plane. I have also experienced further loss and grief in the following and final weeks of that year, leading to feelings of rage, regret and resentment. 

Performed in a violent mood, the dance is called Raudra or Rudra Tandava.

 When Sati (first wife of Shiva, who was reborn as Parvati) jumped into the Agni Kunda (sacrificial fire) and gave up her life, Shiva is said to have performed the Rudra Tandava to express his grief and anger.
