Hardware/Software Combos

I dug out my Access Virus kB from a time capsule, underneath a lot of debris. I was reinfekted momentarily. So I made this. A symbiosis of hardware, guitar and synth, and a lot of software effects and a virtual drumbox.

It was a challenge to temper(mix) this wild thing, but the metal virus induced a strange kind of trance for over 7 minutes. The vistas was mind staggering.

Alien metal virus induced trance or a conscious compartmentalization of a flickering on the edge of reality

Landed in Øydegard during some heavy rainfall to watch the rainclouds as the sun set. Very nice.

I have found some of my tracks on youtube on different videos and I'm honoured by that, but please let me know if you use my tracks, because I like to see and hear the result. Makes it feel more than a hobby just for my own enjoyment. (You know, to compensate for the GAS:-)
And remember, it's free to use for sampling, edit/remix, fixing, tweaking and I can send stems and such if anyone is interested. Attribution in my case means I want to hear the result :-)

Regarding the new mix, I forgot to compare the two mixes. Does it rumble a bit or is that a good thing? I mixed half asleep. Now to sleep...

A Visit To Øydegard One Rainy Night (New mix 21082014)

From the same journey as Antennae aligned - receiving. It went on and on.
Done on a yamaha electone with a digitech xr200 and a dod envelope filter.

Made it in 2009 or somewhen back there. Report from my early spacetravels.

Cruising Space - Searching

After drifting aimlessly for a long while, I set my goals on a geosync'ed orbit around earth. Watching from orbit... sigh, why so much wanton destruction?

Spurred on by a conversation with a friend about making the kind of tracks one wants and using lots of delay and reverb...well here's a late night attempt on my part.

Achieving Geosynchronous Orbit

First attempt to use my Digitech GNX3000 with my microKorg. . A VST of a regular drum/rhythmbox supply the perc. 

Title influenced by Peter F Hamilton's Pandora's star from the Commonwealth saga. A must-read for any science fiction fan.

Investigating Dark Fortress generator (2013 mix)

First recorded flight with the Korg SAS-20. Heavily laden with effects.

Korg SAS-20 was the first Korg keyboard with a chord recognition computer onboard. It dates from 1983 and weighs 11kg. Solid piece of equipment.

Tumbling through the escalator tubes of the Martian Palace one hear a cacophony of sounds from differents floors. Confusing.

Mixed with and mostly for headphones, not sure how it'll sound on sound systems. For some tracks it's advisable to turn the sound up, but some tracks are quite loud. I don't know what I'm doing half(or more of) the time.
Time is elusive and opportunities for spending time on my music comes and goes fast. An hour here and two hours there...I need coffee...
