Space Textures Studio Sessions - 004 - Kairogen

Fresh from her release on Textures 3 with 'White Sands' Glasgow based Kairogen joins us for our 4th session.

Kairogen produces and DJs electronic music which loosely fits within the techno sphere, bringing ambient, experimental and melodic elements into her own interpretation of the sound.

She first began producing whilst studying at art school, drifting between creating sound art compositions and club tracks.  2021 saw her debut on Soma Records with her ambient piece ‘Mineral’.

Working with music, visual art and digital media has formed a wide area of exploration for the artist and a desire to create works that blur the boundaries between genres and contexts which only continues to evolve.

For this edition Kairogen has recorded a live ambient session merging her own creations to form a wonderful flowing off world journey.

After a break of around 4 years, the fifth part of the Affinity series is now being released.

We are pleased to present rookas, an artist making his label debut alongside established Affin artists such as Cauê and the Cliche Morph project, who are also making a comeback after a long absence.

The Affinity format was created in 2015 and is home to contributions from Claudio PRC, Reggy Van Oers, Ness, Deepbass, Hoedus, Blazej Malinowski, Joachim Spieth, A Sacred Geometry, N​ø​rbak, Toki Fuko, Aleja Sanchez and Massa.

Affinity 5 is the second release from our new sub label Affin Serial.

Our next premiere is from Liam Costar on his Australian-based AYTHEKOS. For this one, we get to host a dancefloor-driven remix from LSS an energetic blend of rolling acidic stabs of pulsating scattered kicks. Solid groove work on what is poised to be a smashing release out in early March.
