Reckoning Records is thrilled to announce the upcoming EP release “Illusions” by renowned melodic techno artist, Aurelien Stireg. The EP is set to debut on July 28, 2023, adding a new chapter to the rich sonic narrative weaved by Stireg since the early days of the label.
As one of the core members of Reckoning Records and the impresario behind Yuna Beats Label, Aurelien Stireg has a history of crafting auditory experiences that captivate, immerse, and take listeners on a compelling journey. This latest EP continues that tradition with a collection of tracks that are at once complex, intimate, and evocative.
The original mix of “Illusions” is a stunning showcase of Stireg’s signature style. Beautifully intricate melodies entwine, their harmonious interplay creating a soundscape that is both intricate and ethereal. The breakdown of this track leverages the profound power of vocal effects and synths to evoke a profound range of emotions.

Adding to the artistic diversity of this EP, we have remixes from Kooku and Hattrick, two rising stars in the music scene who have been creating waves with their unique approach to sound creation.
Kooku, fresh off multiple #1 Beatport Progressive House releases, delivers a remix of “Illusions” that is heavier and darker. While it shadows the brooding corners of techno, it remains true to the emotional core of the original mix, resulting in an enthralling journey through the cavernous depth of sound.

Hattrick, recently gaining recognition from industry heavyweight Paul Van Dyk, offers a remix with bright percussive work that breathes new life into the vocal elements. His treatment of the “Illusions” track infuses it with a rhythmic vitality that is as irresistible as it is innovative.
