Vybz Kartel, Spice, Admiral Bailey, Sade & Zeina - Ramping Shop, Punanny & Sweetest Taboo (Mashup)

Spaceville Hi-Fi is a sound system and platform created by Montreal producer and artist Don Theking in early 2023 to push the music scene in the city of Montreal through DJ mixes, remixes and mashups. Especially the English music scene which is sometimes overlooked and not as pushed and promoted as much as the French music scene in the city.

This sound system was also created to push Don Theking's genres and sounds Spacebit and Bendmix across the city of Montreal and expand the sound beyond the city.

Spacebit is a genre and sound created by Don Theking which is a blend of Reggae and Dub with Chiptune and Synthwave where the main point is to make the listener feel like they are in the future or space.

Spacedim is the term that refers to a Spacebit riddim which is the Spacebit instrumental.

Bendmix or bendmixing is a mixing style created by Don Theking that involves the manipulation of a song or remix, the use of mixing effects and the change of pitch and speed throughout the manipulated song or remix.

The main intention of Bendmix is to rebel against the copyright detection system on big music platforms that silences the voices of remixers and DJs trying to express themselves. The main intention is to also make the listener feel like they're travelling to a whole new galaxy through sound.

A Bendmix Dub does the same thing but more on a trippy, space movie atmosphere type of level with manipulated vocals from the Bendmix appearing in with the main focus being on the slow, in your face galaxy vibes.
