Imagine: a single mother of 4, trying to keep her children protected from negative influences on the toughstreets of the Westside of Chicago. Deciding to entertain in the house, sharing with her children music sheloved, and encouraging them to write songs of their own. Now imagine Mario (Space World), the oldest son, spending hours with a simple pen in hand and paper on the table, writing lyrics. This love of music that began with his mother would continue to flourish into skill, into passion, into a desire. At the age of 12, Mario adopted the name Space because when he wrote it “felt like I was in my own world.” He knew he was put on this earth with a little something extra. A special gift that he recognized set him apart from everyone else. He embraced this God given gift and put it into his music.  Today he is known as Space World and his style and music are as diverse as his name. In the late 90&#039;s, Space (as most people know him) and life long childhood friend Jonathan (Rush Galaxy) became Ben-Sity. Their collaborations together have been nothing short of magic.  This moniker represents love and respect, something both members deserve and demand in their quest to reach their goal of being signed and being able to share their music, with the world. Space World and his partner&#039;s dedication to the music are as strong now as when they first came together.  Did you know Space World has performed at such venues as: the House of Blues, Congress Theater, Double Door, or Subterranean? Or did you know he has had the privilege of opening for 2 Live Crew, Young Jeezy, Jazmine Sullivan or Snoop Dogg? It’s only the beginning! Space has a saying: &quot;Stay Humble, stay focused.&quot; With that and knowing through God all things are possible, he continues to co produce with Ben-Sity, as well as his work on his first solo mix tape, set to drop first quarter 2013.  Space World has a goal and that is what allows him to stay motivated. His music is relatable and when you listen to his lyrics you can put yourself in his place, you can picture yourself in the story. For Space, writing is all about what he&#039;s been through and while his lyrics may seem fantasy at times, believe, that&#039;s the way it is in Space World! His lyrics are a combination of experiences, both personal and professional, so when you listen, he&#039;s giving you the salt that&#039;s been poured in his wounds. With un-matched confidencedon&#039;t confuse him as cocky. According to Space, &quot;I’m a self-proclaimed asshole but it’s only because I won't stop and my music won't die. Making it is not an option, it’s my destiny
