The first music release on Space Yacht is finally here. The LA-based culture collective has become a pivotal figure in the US electronic scene over the past 5 years. With a knack for spotting developing talent, Space Yacht has positioned themselves at the forefront of the industry and are proud to present “Moving Forward” by CLB & Formula as their first release.

“When "Moving Forward" landed on our Tune Reactor show on Twitch (it's our demo review show and it's also a live reaction video), we were instantly blown away. Part of it was the hook that came from the track’s co-producer and lyricist, Formula. ‘No matter how hard you try, you try to stay alive. You keep on moving forward’ was spot on in terms of what we were feeling in 2020, yet timeless in that it describes something we all do every day, and have done since the beginning of time--survive. We knew right away we wanted to work with this piece of art somehow, so we decided to launch our label with it. - Space Yacht co-founder Henry Lu

Sounds impossible? That´s exactly what Camo &
Krooked + Mefjus did for their new Single “No
Tomorrow” which is the first release of their upcoming
“No Tomorrow EP”
Three drum & bass powerhouses collide as Camo &
Krooked & Mefjus team up on their latest glitched out
anthem ‘No Tomorrow’ featuring the sultry vocals of
Sophie Lindinger (Leyya) - an unmatchable four-way
showcase of some of Austria’s finest musical talent. With
the three titan’s last collaboration ‘Kallisto’ on Hospital
Records taking the electronic music scene by storm last
summer with impeccable sound design and
mind-warping basslines, Camo & Krooked & Mefjus
have outdone themselves once more as ‘No Tomorrow’
plunges deep into the depths of twisted drum & bass
sonics.
The Song is part of the “No Tomorrow” EP which will
include an acoustic / classical rework of the song + an
electronica-based version. The follow up Single will be
released by the end of this year and the EP will follow in
January.

CLB is a refreshing face in the world of American bass music. After successfully navigating the breakbeat & house scenes for years, he made a recent transition into a heavier sound, focusing mainly on drum & bass, grime, and dubstep. In this short time, he’s gained support from legends like Noisia, My Nu Leng, S.P.Y. & Flava D to Boombox Cartel, Zeds Dead & RL Grime. Pushing new sounds is one of the main goals of his career, which is why some of the largest acts look to him as a window into the underground.

CLB’s music is a fresh reference to the many foundational sounds of the UK in the American market. His vibrant attitude comes through in his eclectic style, having provided frequent features on BBC Radio 1, Beats 1, and Rinse FM. His DJ career has landed him sets both in the UK and the US, including Masked Ball in Falmouth, Lakota in Bristol and headlining Respect in Los Angeles.  

He has had notable releases on labels such as Deadbeats, Viper Recordings, MONTA, Slow Roast, and Space Yacht Records. 2024 is shaping up to be even bigger and better than years past, and he continues to be one to watch in the American bass scene.
