Happy to collaborate with my friend Ebi once again with track that started off as a sample flip. The sample I was given was an audio file created from an algorithm being fed my name, and the entire track (synths, bass, drums, etc.) uses that sample. Then Ebi wrote lyrics and we recorded our vocals, and the rest was history...

I have extraordinarily little skill or knowledge with DAWs and electronic music work. But one of my teachers, Dr. Neil Anderson-Himmelspach, has really helped me learn some things. "Meow" is a track I wrote in Ableton Live based on things that Dr. Spach taught me during my time in his Intro to Electro-Acoustic Music class. The synth melody was all improv that I did on keyboard, which was particularly fun as I don't have any experience improvising on keyboard. I got the purring and meow sounds online. I wanted to sample my own cat, O'Malley, pictured here, but it was too difficult to get samples of him making noise. He gets microphone-shy.

I am still not good at this stuff, but I could do this at least. Enjoy the music!
